Bitz arrived.

My bits arrived today in the mail. Just a letter with a bubble-wrap envelope. Will spray later, along with Flamestorm Cannons.

I've finished the copula and commander, as well as the Twin-Linked Assault Cannon turret.

I've also ordered a very fine paintbrush from Faraos Cigarer, a Danish hobby store (the hobby branch, specifically. It started out as a comic store). Should arrive tomorrow or on Thursday.

Land Raider Redeemer update.

Yes, a double post! I wanted to keep my Land Redeemer project updates separate from other blog posts.

I've almost finished the interior, I just need the double doors and the wall-thingy with the tools on it from Bitz Box, and I need to finish the three Bolters for the gun rack. They are PIP at the moment.

I would post pictures in this blog, but as I'm a lazy git, I'll just link my picture-heavy WIP thread over on the B&C.

Tenth company idea scrapped.

I've decided to scrap the Tenth Company idea. Or rather, put it on hold for a while. I will instead buy everything required to make the Third company, except transport (as they will increase the price quite a lot, they'll be added later).

I do not know if I will buy it when I am in Nottingham, or from Gamers Warehouse when I've got money again when I've gotten back to Denmark. I will however, buy the Chaplain and Librarian in Nottingham, to ensure that I get the version I want, a feature which Gamers Warehouse does not offer, and Games Workshop's online store also requires shipping, so I'm opting for the cheapest way.

More work on Redeemer. Plus insane idea.

I have done some work on the interior of the Redeemer, everything I can do so far. Just need the paints I ordered from Gamers Warehouse, which got shipped yesterday, so they should arrive tomorrow, Saturday, or on Monday (I'm praying to the Emperor that it is tomorrow), and my bits from Bitz Box, which sadly, aren't estimated to arrive until next week, Monday or Tuesday, or if I'm unlucky, Wednesday.

I've also prepared the sponsons (Flamestorm Cannons), front turret (dual Assault Cannon), and commander hatch (with Storm Bolter) for undercoating.

I also got a rather insane idea earlier today. I want to make the entire Tenth company, and buy everything at once. I know, I know, I'm supposed to work on the Third. Yet, I love the scout models, and the Land Speeder Storm looks awesome. I will probably buy it when I get my pay for July, a little after the LSS has been released.

It will be expensive. £292 for the stuff from Gamers Warehouse. But it will be worth it.

What I've planned to buy (from Gamers Warehouse, mostly. Chaplain and Librarian will be from GW's website or Nottingham to ensure I get the right models.):
  • Telion.
  • 10x Scout boxes. (50 miniatures)
  • 6x Scout Sniper boxes. (30 miniatures)
  • 10x Scout Biker boxes. (10 miniatures)
  • 2x LS Storm boxes. (8 Scouts + 2 LSS with 2 crew each)
  • Command Squad. (5 miniatures)
  • Commander.
  • Chaplain. (no helmet, with Bolt Pistol)
  • Librarian. ("Bruce Willis" Bolt Pistol)
A total of 108 miniatures, plus two Land Speeder Storms. In addition to that, I have one box of unused Scouts, which will provide bits, as well as the two remaining Scouts for the LSS squad.

I plan to keep everything in a sorting drawer-arrangement thingy, which I will buy within the next few days (44 drawers! Forty small, three medium and one large).

Before that, I am going to Nottingham in early July, 2nd-5th. I'll probably pick up the Planetstrike book, as well as some boxes of terrain while I'm over there.

Signing off for now.

First post.

This blog is about my version of the Ultramarines third company, and additional units from the first and tenth company, as well as the armoury.

At the moment, I am working on a Land Raider Redeemer, from the armoury, which is still in a WIP stage. I have started painting the interior, and when that is finished, I will assemble the tank and paint the hull.
I still need my shipments from Bitz Box, though, to be able to finish the interior.

More later, probably tomorrow.
